this classic heirloom variety has been around since the late 1800s from Italy originally.
It's also used as parent stock in a lot of modern sweet pepper varieties the peppers have a sweet rubust flavor with a deep red color. And grow fairly quickly and the plants and get a few feet tall
Will take around 75 days after transplant to start picking
This variety is not to fussy about growing and pretty easy to grow. Will grow in zones 5 thru 10
Plant early plant often and happy growing
We had great luck with this variety as a house plant
Here in central Oregon we have long winters. We had three of these in our order packing room a few times a week we would pick. Fresh peppers.
