Swiss Chard

Our Chard or Swiss chard (Beta vulgaris subsp. vulgaris) packs have over 50 seeds and around 1800 per ounce. Chard is a perfect choice for your spring and fall greens.  A heads up--they will tend to bolt and get bitter when there's too much heat on 'em. They are very cold tolerant and can grow over winter in colder climates with protection. We carry Heirloom Chard only!     

  Swiss chard is a very nice cool season green that's easy to grow.
