Grows up to 2 feet tall, this Italian Large Leaf Basil has bright green aromatic leaves that are used for a seasoning. It's especially good for making pesto! This Italian Long Leaf basil is great for containers and raised beds. If you are only going to grow one herb, then grow this one!  You don't need a big garden to grow Italian basil. All you need is 1 grow tray or a couple small pots.  And you can have a consistent supply of fresh baby leaf basil for your kitchen.  For a nursery tray go and over seed it.  Water and presto you have baby leaf in a few weeks if you divide up your tray you can have it all the time.
