The Calero Yellow Jalapeno Pepper--folks, this is a yellow jalapeno. It has a hint of lemon taste. Not quite as much heat as a normal jalapeno, but the Calero Yellow Jalapeno is really packed with flavor! It starts out yellow and will turn orange when fully ripe. This variety is a rare seed and is very hard to find. It takes about 75 days after transplanting to start harvesting. It also grows well in the northern areas of the USA. To our farmers market friends, this jalapeno will liven up your tables--'cause you can't get this variety in the stores! Happy growing!!!
