    Is a. Very sweet near white flesh and white rind melon. That been around since the late 1800s 

 And. Is a part of the Portuguese diet.  This melon is very rare in the USA.  Takes about 100 to 110 days.  So to our northern gardener friends  we recommend  transplanting.  Will produce nice. Oval 4 to 6 pound melons.  That will be a crowd pleaser.  Because  you can only get heirloom quality when you buy melon seeds online
