A very rare hubbard type, it does well in sales; its beautiful in appearance.  It stores very well and has a true winter squash flavor. Can be used in place of potatoes. This ones a little bigger, so if you're only cooking for two, cut in half or quarters and save the rest.  Will make an excellent addition to fall displays. Your homestead needs a few like this!
