Also known as a Mexican pumpkin, this is a rare acorn-shape winter squash that has striped ribbing that makes it a winner for fall displays and CSA boxes. Great for smaller families who are not looking for a huge squash for their table. This one only gets a few pounds, and it's a perfect choice for the homesteader that wants a unique squash but only wants a few varieties.
